Important Leasing information
- Covenant Place is an Equal Housing Opportunity facility.
- Applicants must meet the Tenant Selection Criteria to reside at Covenant Place. These include, but are not limited to:
- Individual applying for residency must be 62 years of age, or older.
- No more than two people may reside in a one-bedroom apartment.
- Rent is based on income.
- Income limits for admissions eligibility are set by HUD each year. Please consult our leasing office to see if you qualify.
Application Process
Applicants must be able to complete the application process. If there are necessary accommodations that must be made for the applicant to do this, please communicate these needs to the Leasing Office and all efforts will be made, within reason, to provide the accommodation.
Leasing Details:
- Applicants must meet eligibility requirements before being placed on the waitlist.
- Applicants must be able to comply with the terms of their lease.
- Covenant Place does not offer personal care, nursing care, medical intervention, daily monitoring or any other personal assistance.
- Housekeeping assistance is available on a sliding scale fee, for those who qualify.
- Covenant Place and its management company, Community Housing Management Corp., follow a consistent application process.
- Covenant Place is a diverse community and welcomes all applicants.
Eligibility & Application
The Eligibility Questionnaire must be completed to determine eligibility for the wait list. Most people call this the “application”, but the application will not be completed until an apartment is offered.
